According to reports,
Simon Cowell is in talks to develop his very own dance competition show. A source tells
Us Weekly Simon "is secretly in talks to start his own dance show with Ian Burton, a UK friend who used to run a record label with him and has managed dancers.”
The insider claims Simon wants to go head-to-head with SYTYCD producer Nigel Lythgoe, who also happens to produce American Idol.
The source continues, "It's his own SYTYCD show. He is always trying to do his own thing to compete with the Idol team. Now he is trying to steal the SYTYCD thunder.”
In addition to Idol, Simon already produces America's Got Talent, and judges on The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent. Soon he’s going to be on every single reality show out there!
