Rosie O'Donnell TV News

Whether you like it or not Rosie O'Donnell is heading back to television. Well, it’s better than her going back to video blogging every day!

Rosie will be appearing in a Lifetime original called America, about a teenage boy who is placed in the foster care system after living with his crack-addicted mother.

Rosie plays Dr. Maureen Brennan, a psychiatrist at the youth treatment center, who helps America open up about his past of pain...
Looks like people weren’t interested in watching Rosie O'Donnell last night, as Rosie Live wound up being a major network flop! The program, which last night on Thanksgiving, drew in more bad reviews than viewers. Only 5 million tuned in. And you can probably bet that at least half of those people were only half-conscious in a turkey-induced coma. Here are some of the reviews. John Mayer may want to re-think his plans to host his own variety show...
Whether you like her or not, Rosie O'Donnell is back! The chatter queen has caused a lot of controversy (and a war of words) with her ex-boss Barbara Walters, and now she's back on the small screen.

Last night Rosie was out for a good cause as she hosted the “Rosie O’Donnell to host Rosie’s Gala, Building Dreams for Kids” event in New York City. Proceeds from the event helped continue the efforts to improve...
Barbara Walters has just had it with old co-hosts living in the past, and not getting over the fact that they were fired from The View. Hint, hint, Rosie…On this morning’s episode, Babs put Rosie O’Donnell (and probably Star Jones) in their place and told them to pretty much move on with their lives. Rosie O'Donnell can stop video blogging for a little while because she's finally heading back to primetime television. NBC has officially announced they'll air Rosie's Variety Show on November 26th, the night before Thanksgiving. If ratings are decent, she'll get the greenlight for more episodes.

Rosie says of the opportunity, "This is a dream come true for any performer. Old time variety, live from New York with a nod to Ed Sullivan, Carol Burnett and memories of...
Rosie O'Donnell can stop with her video blogs now, because she is heading back to television.

She's currently in negotiations for a weekly primetime variety show on NBC.

CBS is also in talks with Rosie to develop her own series, but we hear the money is better at NBC, so that's probably where she'll be going! Would you watch if Rosie comes back on the air?
The feud between Howard Stern and Rosie O'Donnell is over. The two haven't ever gotten along until now.

Howard was moved after he heard about Rosie's documentary called All Aboard about her work with foster children, so he offered her an hour long special on Sirius radio channel to talk about her dedication to the cause, and bring awareness to it.

We've never seen this side of Howard! That's one less fight Rosie is in. Is the Donald...
...For only an encore episode unfortunately.

Rachael Ray has decided to bring back the Rosie O'Donnell show for just one episode this Friday May 2, 2008.

The reason for this encore episode is because Rachael Ray apparently loved the show back in the days so she decided to air it during her daytime show. So basically the "Rachael Ray" show will be transformed into the "Rosie O'Donnell Show" for just one episode.

Rachael should watch...
