As if we don’t get enough of her, prepare to see a lot more of
Roseanne Barr in your near future. She just landed herself her own television show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, she’s teamed up with one of the producers of
Roseanne, Caryn Mandabach, for a family comedy in which she’ll play the family matriarch.
Before you write this one off, we should mention that Jim Vallely, one of the writers of Arrested Development, is attached to write the script, which has been pitched to Fox. He, along with Roseanne, would also be one of the executive producers.
She hasn’t done much scripted TV since Roseanne ended in 1997. Her experience with both reality television and her talk show were pretty short-lived.
