How I Met Your Mother has just lined up a sexy new guest star!
Rachel Bilson, who has been more focused on fashion lately than acting, is set to join the cast of the hysterical comedy.

EW reports that Rachel has landed the infamous “mother” role. Yes, as in the one mentioned in the title!
Last month, exec producer Craig Thomas told
EW that the 100th episode would feature “some serious mother action,” adding, “It’ll be the closest Ted’s ever come to [discovering who she is]. He’s getting a step closer every episode this season, and episode 100 [we] kind of go bananas with it.”
Apparently the producers went back and forth for a while trying to cast this role. Bilson’s rep says she’s only signed on to do one episode at this point. Congrats to Rachel!
