Golden Globes Tries To Make A Deal With Writers

The sponsor of the Golden Globes has begun talks with TV writers aimed at allowing its honors to be broadcast as planned despite the ongoing screenwriters strike. 

They're trying to work out an interim agreement, similar to the one David Letterman did to get back on the air.  This would allow the Golden Globes to be broadcast on  NBC on January 13 as scheduled without picket lines.

So what this really means is if they reach an agreement, the GG's will air, which means stars have about ten days to get to a fitting. Hurry!
