Guess having Russell Brand host this year's VMAs was a good thing! The ratings are in, and the show rocked this year! The ratings were 15% higher than last year's, and 41% than 2006!
The fact that Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, and Lil Wayne all performed probably helped things as well. Plus, everyone tuned in to see if Britney was going to perform! And even though she didn't, the girl won big!
There's always next year for her to redeem herself.
