CW is gearing up for their next remake right now.
90210 is a huge hit, and the network is hoping their next project, Melrose Place, will be just as successful. And we hear an actress that got her start on television may be stepping into one of the show’s leading roles.
That actress is
Mischa Barton! A CW insider tells TV website Zap2it.com that Mischa is testing for a role on the show today, and that the network is “very excited about her.”
But we thought Mischa only wanted to be a “film” actress? She left the O.C. for that reason, which was, ultimately, the demise of the show. Her film career has not really taken off, so it makes sense for Mischa to latch onto any role that’s offered to her.
What’s also strange is that Mischa turned down the role of Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl just last year, which ended up going to Michelle Trachtenberg.
Now we just wonder which role the producers are considering her for! We could totally see her playing the updated version of Heather Locklear’s character!
