Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni are officially returning for season 11 of Law & Order: SVU!
Access Hollywood confirmed the news, after there have been months of rumors of a pay dispute with both of the show’s stars.
Last month, Mariska said she’s hoped things would work out so Detective Olivia Benson and Detective Elliot Stabler could return to the show.
In related news, Stephanie March, who began playing A.D.A. Alexandra Cabot in 2000, but left briefly, is returning to the show. Stephanie will return during the fifth episode of Season 11. She will appear in ten episodes in total.
New to the show next season will be actress Christine Lahti, who will guest starr in the first four episodes as an assistant district attorney. No further details on her character were available at press time.
We’re just happy to hear Mariska and Christopher are officically back! That show wouldn’t be the same without them.
