So it may have all been just a rumor. Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight aren’t leaving Grey's Anatomy after all! And this latest information comes straight from the horse’s mouth.

Show creator Shonda Rhimes said last night at the NAACP Awards, “That was a very interesting rumor. And it’s not true.”

She didn’t want to give up too much information, but did want the fans to know that those characters weren’t going anywhere anytime fast.
Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight have decided to leave Grey’s Anatomy! There’s been a lot of talk about Katherine possibly quitting the show, but now it’s been confirmed. Grey’s co-star James Pickens Jr. told Us Weekly, “Yes she is. "Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best."

Pickens also commented on Knight leaving as well, saying, "He's going too. He just wanted to pursue other career paths."
