Joan and Kate Gosselin have become one of America’s most famous families, ever since the premiere of their TLC show
Jon & Kate Plus 8. They always paint the picture of being the perfect family, up until now.
In recent episodes, Jon has looked less than thrilled with his wife during their confessionals on the show. And now
US Weekly is reporting that he’s been caught with another woman.
The magazine has pictures of Jon leaving a club at 2AM with another woman, who he referred to as “babe.” And it wasn’t his wife! We would not want to see the wrath of Kate when Jon got home that night!
Lucky for him, Kate was away in Bellevue, Washington, promoting her new book,
Eight Little Faces. Jon denies the affair, and released a statement saying, "I went to
Legends to speak to the owner. A friend of mine wanted to check out my car, so I let her drive it to her car," he says. "Yes, I have female friends -- but that is all she is. I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV."
Seems a little fishy to us! But he should be letting loose with his wife, not some “female friend.”
Update: Jon Gosselin has just spoken up about the allegations he was spotted with another woman while his wife Kate was across the country promoting her new book.
Jon has issued a statement to
Extra, saying, "Like most people, I have male and female friends, and I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV. However, being out with them late at night showed poor judgment on my part.”
"What makes me sick is that my careless behavior has put my family in this uncomfortable position. My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them."
