Regis Philbin To Appear On How I Met Your Mother

Move over Britney! Regis Philbin is about to take your place! Reeg is scheduled to be appearing on How I Met Your Mother this season.

But there won't be any acting involved for him, since he'll be playing himself.

The episode is scheduled to air Monday September 29th. In the episode, the HIMYM crew runs into Regis at an NYC burger place that Marshall loves.

No Emmy For Britney

Britney's performance of the year (no, we're not talking about her VMA performance) won't be earning her a spot in the Emmy race after all. She did make the preliminary list for consideration for her cameo role on How I Met Your Mother, but it looks like it's not deserving of a golden statue quite yet.
