Look out, Upper East Side! The Duffster is coming to town!
Hilary Duff has just signed on to join the cast of Gossip Girl! And this isn’t just a one-time deal; sources say Hill is in it for the long haul.
EW reports that Duff is joining the cast for a multi-episode arc. She’ll play Olivia Burke, a movie starlet who enrolls at NYU. She winds up rooming with Vanessa (played by Jessica Szohr).
GG producers reportedly nabbed Hilary right after her NBC pilot Barely Legal failed to get picked up. We love this casting! We kind of want Hilary to play a good girl, but we know the chances of that happening are slim to none!
We can’t wait for Gossip Girl to return on October 5th!
