Look out, Upper East Side! The Duffster is coming to town! Hilary Duff has just signed on to join the cast of Gossip Girl! And this isn’t just a one-time deal; sources say Hill is in it for the long haul.

EW reports that Duff is joining the cast for a multi-episode arc. She’ll play Olivia Burke, a movie starlet who enrolls at NYU. She winds up rooming with Vanessa (played by Jessica Szohr).
