Katherine Heigl and
T.R. Knight aren’t leaving
Grey's Anatomy after all! And this latest information comes straight from the horse’s mouth.
Show creator Shonda Rhimes said last night at the NAACP Awards, “That was a very interesting rumor. And it’s not true.”
She didn’t want to give up too much information, but did want the fans to know that those characters weren’t going anywhere anytime fast.
She said, “That was absolutely taken out of context. Things happen, and … I think rumors become fact very easily. And you know I don’t like to tell you what’s going to happen on the show — but that is a rumor.”
So you can all stop worrying! Dr. Izzie will still be there every week to bring the drama and tears. But we’re still wondering why James Pickens Jr. told the media that he was wishing them well on their next endeavors.
He replied, “When the question was posed to me, I was more trying to congratulate Katie and T.R. on whatever they were going to do. But yeah, I don’t have any special info about it either way.”
Now we’re thoroughly confused. Why would he wish them well if they weren’t going anywhere? Katherine and T.R. may not be leaving Grey’s, but we have a feeling Shonda Rhimes has a couple tricks up her sleeve that she’s not telling us.
