Gossip Girl spinoff is actually happening! Just one more show to add to the Tivo! And now we hear that the first character has been cast. That was quick! Krysten Ritter has been cast as Carol Rhodes, who is Lily van der Woodsen’s older sister and black sheep of the family.
The storyline for the spinoff is all about Lily’s crazy teen years growing up in Los Angeles. Lily is forced to move in with her sister and deal with not having the privileges of a charmed life like she had before.
This should be interesting! We like Krysten as an actress! She played the goth girl in 27 Dresses, and you can catch her next weekend, starring opposite Isla Fisher as Suze in Confessions of a Shopaholic.
