Look out, Upper East Side! The Duffster is coming to town! Hilary Duff has just signed on to join the cast of Gossip Girl! And this isn’t just a one-time deal; sources say Hill is in it for the long haul.

The word on the street is that the Gossip Girl spin-off is already being cancelled! It hasn’t even gotten a chance! Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that it went from “hot, to lukewarm, to fading but wouldn’t count it out, to dead.”
