ABC is getting Desperate! But in a good way. The network has just announced that the ladies of Wisteria Lane aren’t going anywhere fast. Desperate Housewives is officially signed on for two more seasons. Bring on the drama! Or have they already used up all their plot lines? We smell a lesbian storyline! Wait, that’s already been done too.

Marc Cherry and his cougar-licious cast already knew they were locked in until at least May 2011, but with no guarantee there would be any more after that. But now they can celebrate, and so can women between the ages of 18-34 everywhere!

Sources from the set say, "Marc was cutting a cake when he announced it. He couldn't have been happier—this show isn't going anywhere."

Are you excited for this Desperate news? What are your ideas for new story lines?

I'm a huge fan of DH, but I'm not sure there is enough story lines that can fill up too many more seasons. But then, that is plenty of time for Susan and Mike to get back together and then break up and the whole mess again?

if they go with the story on how they all moved there in the past and have Mary Alice's as a cast member then there is more room for another season.
