The ladies of Wisteria Lane aren’t going anywhere! Desperate Housewives will be sticking around until 2013. According to Variety, director Marc Cherry extended the show’s contract with ABC for to more years.

But there’s no confirmation on whether the show’s main characters, played by Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria Parker, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross—will want to go that long. They’re all only committed to the 2010-11 season, the show's seventh.

Viewers were left in the dark when news broke that Nicolette Sheridan would be killed off Desperate Housewives.

Speaking to TV Guide, Nicolette Sheridan opens up on her departure from a show she’s been on for five seasons.

“I said, ‘OK, sayonara. It’s been a great ride. Thank you,’” Sheridan tells TV Guide.
