Katherine McPhee to Guest Star on CSI: NY

The CSI shows love to book random people on their shows. Especially musicians! Taylor Swift just finished up her gig on CSI, while Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz had a cameo on CSI: NY last month.

Now it’s Katharine McPhee’s turn! According to The Hollywood Reporer, the former Idol contestant has just booked a spot on CSI: NY.

This isn’t Katherine’s first acting gig though. She actually appeared on Ugly Betty as herself...
Ashlee Simpson And Pete Wentz To Guest Star On CSI: NY

New parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz will be getting a quick breather from diaper changes when they both guest star on CSI: NY. That’s right!

The two of them are starring together on an episode. According to Entertainment Weekly, Ash and Pete signed a deal to appear on the show. And according to their rep, the couple won’t be playing themselves.

This trend of hiring celebrities as guest stars isn’t going anywhere....

How does the crew of CSI: NY celebrate the exciting milestone of reaching its 100th episode?

With lots of big name Hollywood celebrities making cameo appearances, of course.

So far they've gotten Chris Daughtry, Rumer Willis, Julia Ormond, and Marshall Faulk. Let us know when they find some real celebrities and we'll go ahead and call in that order for the sheet cake and helium balloons.
Rumer Willis To Appear On CSI: NY

Rumer Willis is one busy girl! Straight from the success of 'The House Bunny,' Rumer is now scheduled to guest star on CSI: NY.

It isn't just any episode either, she'll guest star on the 100th episode….the landmark episode, airing Nov. 19.

Rumer will play a character by the name of Mac Taylor, who will be under investigation for murder. Sorry no spoilers, that's all you get.
