Conan O'Brien TV News

Conan O'Brien officially took over for Jay Leno last night, but he may need a bit more practice before he calls himself the new king of late night.

Critics didn’t exactly love Conan’s debut last night, saying he didn’t have much of a rapport with his audience. Check out what some critics are saying:

Randee Dawn of The Hollywood Reporter: "After one show, let's say he's a work in progress. O’Brien commanded the stage,...
Jay Leno is almost at the end of his 17-year run on The Tonight Show. Conan O'Brien will be taking over the late night duties, moving from New York to LA, and beginning his new gig this summer.

Jay has just revealed who his final guest will be, and it’s none other than Conan himself! Jay will chat with his successor on the last show, which will air Friday, May 29th.

That last week...
It’s going to be strange for the first few weeks to call it The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien. But with Conan transitioning into Jay Leno’s late night spot in LA, at least he’ll have a familiar face by his side.

Conan’s friend and former sidekick Andy Richter has been named the announcer for the Tonight Show when Conan takes over, which is a role Ed McMahon once held. The two will be replacing Jay and his...
Jimmy Fallon is gearing up for his talk show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, whose date has not yet been announced. But fans of his can catch their first glimpse of him since his SNL days starting tomorrow!

Fallon will replace fellow Saturday Night Live alumnus Conan O'Brien as the host of NBC's Late Night when O'Brien takes over The Tonight Show from Jay Leno in 2009.

Jimmy will be posting daily video blogs...
Say adios to Jay Leno because NBC just announced that his last Tonight Show taping will be Friday, May 29. Conan O'Brien will officially take over Jay's time-slot on Monday, June 1.

Jimmy Fallon will take over Conan's seat for the late show in March or April of 2009.

"I hope to make it the best show and a great show for everyone to choose me to fall asleep during," said Fallon.

There won't be any changes for almost a year...
Jonah Hill did a big boo-boo while on the Late Show with Conan. He dropped the F-bomb on live television. That's a big no-no as you guys know.

Just last week, Joan Rivers got kicked off a show because she dropped the F-Bomb. We don't know why, but networks take cursing very seriously. Why is cursing not allowed on a late show? Kids should be sleeping by that time anyways.

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon! It has a ring to it, and now you can look forward to seeing Jimmy every night as you're trying to fall asleep. He just signed the deal to take Conan O'Brien's late night spot on NBC.  Don't worry, Conan fans! He'll be relocating out west to take over for Jay Leno, whether Jay likes it or not. We don't know where Jay will end up, but he's being forced outta there by his own network. ...
Conan O'Brien totally got jipped on the stalker scene that's really popular these days.  His stalker is a priest! Creepy.  Maybe he can get a new one, because his current one is going to jail.  David Ajemian pled guilty of disorderly conduct and stalking Conan.

Prosecutors say Ajemian began sending letters to O'Brien in September 2006. He was also arrested in New York City last year while trying to enter a taping of Conan's show, despite being warned to...
