Britney's performance of the year (no, we're not talking about her VMA performance) won't be earning her a spot in the Emmy race after all. She did make the preliminary list for consideration for her cameo role on How I Met Your Mother, but it looks like it's not deserving of a golden statue quite yet. Maybe she'll have to keep reprising her role next season to get in contention for the next show!
But Brit isn't the only "actress" who was snubbed. Mary-Kate Olsen wasn't included for consideration in the Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on Weeds.
Who is in contention is the always hilarious Saraj Silverman for Monk, Amy Ryan for the Office, Carrie Fisher and Edie Falco for 30 Rock, and Polly Bergen and Shirley Knight for Desperate Housewives.
