Hollywood's Got Battlestar Galactica Fever

June 12, 2008

If you are a part of the "Battlestar Galactica" cult, then you will like this story. The stars of the hit TV show were out last night for the L.A. Times The Envelope's Emmy Screening Series Presentation at the Cinerama Dome.

Fans lined up to get a glimpse of Katee Sackhoff, Mary McDonnell and Tricia Helfer, Ronald D. Moore, Keith Garsee, Scott Ian among others who came out for the Q & A. Being an online viewer, one question we had in mind. Why isn’t the "Sine Qua Non" episode available to view?

We hear the reason for this tragedy is that the Network doesn’t want to lose it's TV audience to the Internet. Expect a week delay broadcast online from its broadcast on TV.

This way, the TV viewers would tune in and not lose their connection. Now if you don’t have any patience like myself to lose a week, it's time to get cable.

In the meantime, check out the pictures of you’re favorite "Battlestar Galactica" star below.

The weekly delay actually works AGAINST keeping TV viewers from watching online!! Short sighted thinking. If I miss a TV episode, and have to wait a week to catch up on the internet, then I have no choice but to stay watching online or skip an episode on TV! Hello! (this is what I did this week, just said "frak it" and skipped seeing "The Hub" and watched "Revelations" on TV. I WAS going to just be behind 2 weeks and watch it all online, as that was my ONLY CHOICE, other than to completely miss 'the Hub'. Frakass corporate thinking.
