Madonna's Manager to Replace Simon on Idol?

Ever since Simon Cowell announced that he was leaving 'American Idol' there have been ongoing rumors about his replacement. The newest rumor making the rounds is that Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary will replace Simon on the judging panel.

Guy Oseary would actually be a perfect replacement because he knows A LOT about the music industry and is currently the Chairman of Maverick Records.

“Guy has been in the music business since Madonna discovered him when he was 17, and he has a lot of the same experience as Simon,” a source said.

The other two people that are also being considered are Jamie Foxx who admits that he may not be able to “fill Simon’s shoes” and former Sony music boss and Mariah Carey's ex-husband, Tommy Mottola.

When are they going to make this decision? It's getting annoying with every single person wanting to be a judge on 'American Idol. '

I say pleeeesee no Howard Stern. I can not even stand to look at that man. Plus I would worry he would constantly be trying to get all the girls to disrobe!!!!!

Conan O'Brien would, I think, be a brilliant replacement. Tommy Mottola? Howard Stern? Jeez, can't the show have some reasonably young judges so that this karaokefest has some zest? And who better for the bestest zestest than Coco?
