Idol Insider Says Show Is Fixed

American Idol
American Idol is just getting to the good part. It's down to the final eleven contestants, and they're all pretty top notch. Some are arguably better than others, but is the show fixed?

According to the New York Daily News, an Idol staffer has been saying the final four contestants have already been chosen. Now, that wouldn't make for such a dun show, would it?

The female A.I. worker told a group of people that the last four are going to be Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert and Alexis Grace.

That person allegedly went on to say it wasn’t just speculation, and that those were the people that would be standing at the end.

The insider went on to say even more about how the show is "fixed": “Adam Lambert and Lil Rounds are better singers and musicians than Gokey and Grace, but they’re too much like past winners and AI successes.

"Adam’s too close in style and sound to Chris Daughtry, while Lil Rounds is a dead ringer for Fantasia, even their background stories are similar! The producers really want it to be Danny or Alexis. They think they’re very commercially viable, have a good image and a great story.”

As much as the show goes to great lengths to say that America chooses the winners, we feel this season more than ever that the judges and producers have a say of who stays and who goes home.

We'll have to sit and wait, but something about this story makes us suspicious of this year's competition.
