American Idol
Not all of us were drama geeks in high school so pardon our French when we say ZZZzzzz to this AI edition as it was a bit boring ZZZzzzzz. It did have some highlights though and we are going to touch on those here. First, all shows including 'hit' shows get a lack of viewership somewhere after the 5th to 7th season. AI is currently in its seventh season and seeing a decline in audience each week. And sorry-- but Andrew Lloyd Webber??!? Come on we can do better than that!

Syesha, who has been hanging on for dear life, finally found her niche last night. She vamped it up in a super sexy red dress and matched it with a sultry spectacular performance. She has definitely won over some new fans---congrats!!

Jason with his cute dreads and indie vibe tried his best to perform his song but looked uncomfortable and nervous. Simon said he looked like a young guy being forced by his "mum and dad" to sing a song at a wedding. HA. That's actually kinda funny, because AI is the "parents" that made him sing this.

Brooke--err let's start over...umm like we said ths genre of music may not be hitting generation Y in the right spot. Brooke stopped after the first line, and made the orchestra start over. She was a wreck. Simon said that she was too tense from starting over and it kinda ruined the rest of the song. However, he said she did the right thing and was very brave to start over. Paula still disagreed. Shut up, Paula! Does anyone care what she has to say??

Ryan let a bunch of girls on stage to hug Archie? Awkward! Secondly, Archie (David A.), should of had a blow-out, kick ass performance, instead it came off pleasant but forgettable. At least the girls are still lovin' him!

Carly totally rocked the hell out of her song and sounded/looked like she was having a great time. The fans are sure to love that!

Lastly, David C. hit the big climax note, which was hard for his song but in total the performance was just O.K. Randy thought it was molten hot, and an amazing vocal performance. Huh? Really? Some of the judges comments sound like they are repeat and the button is stuck! Simon thought he did the best he could with the song but doesn't like this side of his voice. And we agree!

Our pick for the boot tomorrow is Brooke, or possibly Jason.....or hmmmm thoughts??

The bottom two were definitely Brooke and Jason. As for a third person to go with the 2 of them I have no idea. I really enjoyed all 4 of the other contestants so it should be interesting to find out who the third person in the bottom 3 will be.

i definitely care about paula's opinion. since she has the best track record on the show and simon has the worst. just go back and watch who they pimped every season and you will see for yourself. simon was only right about carrie. paula was the only one who believed in kelly for example
