It’s down to the boy’s club on
American Idol!
Last night, 17-year old Allison Iraheta got the boot, which may have surprised a lot of people. She sang her heart out with Janis Joplin’s
Cry Baby on Tuesday’s show, which many would call one of the best performances of that night—besides Adam’s, of course.
And despite the fact that both Kris Allen and Danny Gokey struggled with the rock genre, they proved that having millions of tween girls on their side really does make a difference. And it did last night!
Allison was sent packing, leaving Adam, Kris, and Danny to duke it out one more week. Next Tuesday, each of them will perform two songs—one picked by the judge’s, and one being their own choice.
Who is next to go? Our money is on an Adam-Danny finale. But will “dark horse” Kris blow us away next week like he has so many times before? Tune in next week to find out!
