Kris Allen has barely had time to enjoy his crowning as American Idol, and the audition process is starting again! Auditions for season 9 are kicking off June 14th in Boston. Those judges really have no down time!

The auditions, which grow bigger and bigger each season, will then travel to Atlanta on June 18th, followed by Los Angeles on June 30th. Idol will travel to seven U.S. cities total, in hopes of finding hidden...

One of our favorite moments of the Idol Finale was when 'Bikini Girl' took the stage. She started singing Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love” but had a huge surprise when Kara DioGuardi took the stage and started to duet with her.

We don't know if this was setup or if it was in fact a surprise but it was GREAT entertainment.

The American Idol finale is only one day away! Aside from all the excitement on whether Adam or Kris will win it all, there are some huge performers taking the stage tomorrow night!

As Hollyscoop reported last week, Carrie Underwood will be performing her version of Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home,” which has been the farewell song for contestants this season. But there’s lot more than just Carrie!

America has spoken and they have said that they don't want Danny Gokey as their next American Idol.

Gokey got the boot last night leaving the show to our two favs Adam Lambert and cutie Kris Allen.

These two will battle it out next week during the finale and we can't wait!

The only problem we have is we can't figure out who we are going to vote for next week....

It’s down to the boy’s club on American Idol!

Forget the contestants! The real drama on American Idol is with the judges! Ever since hiring on fourth judge Kara DioGuardi, there’s been tension between her and the veterans.

The big question on American Idol, besides who’s going to win, is will Kara DioGuardi be back next season?

According to her, her time is up on the show. She tells TV Guide, "I'm only here for one season. That's what we've discussed. So we'll see what happens. Hopefully they'll keep me on."
