Amanda Bynes is returning to television with a brand new show on ABC called Canned. And the premise of the show may sound a bit familiar to a lot of people…it’s about a group of friends who are fired from their jobs!
There’s a hell of a lot of people in this country who can relate to that right now!
Bynes plays a go-getter-type. Her character is Sarabeth, a naive Mid-Western girl who often spent nights at the office to get her work done. She then gets exploited unknowingly by her boss.
Amanda joins Tim Peper, Stephanie Lemelin and Baron Vaughn who were previously cast in the pilot.
We think this will be a popular show based on the state of the economy alone. It’s what so many Americans are dealing with at this time, so we give it a thumbs up!
