There's a lot of really great shows on TV tonight, most of which air at the same time so set your TiVo's people. Here are some of tonight’s can't miss hot shows...
30 Rock: Season 2 kicks off with an appearance by one of NBC’s most famous (and funniest) alums -- Jerry Seinfeld, who guest stars as himself. Jerry shows up after Jack threatens to “digitally insert” him into a random selection of the network’s shows, against Jerry’s wishes. Back on the set of TGS, Liz discovers Jenna has packed on the pounds during summer hiatus thanks to her role in Broadway’s Mystic Pizza.

Smallville: Clark finally meets his cousin Kara (Laura Vandervoort), but he feels the need to leave town after the recent death of Lana. (Clark doesn’t know that she’s alive and with a bad blonde wig in China.) He heads to the Fortress of Solitude, where Jor-El tells him Kara's father is evil and she and that the future Man of Steel must return to take care of her.

Grey's Anatomy: Mama Burke (guest star Diahann Carroll) makes a return appearance at Seattle Grace, but Cristina has a bigger problem on her hands: what to do with her unused wedding gifts? Intern Lexie continues to try to have a talk with her half-sister Meredith, and the whole staff is put into overdrive after an apartment building explosion floods the hospital.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: The team investigates a murder at a restaurant which serves its customers in the dark as well as the death of a go-cart racer who took to the highway. Details of Sara and Grissom’s relationship are revealed, but how long the two have been together is still unclear.
