Sopranos Season Finale

Did you guys catch the season finale of Sopranos? Were you left disappointed?

Everyone thought the finale episode would have concluded with the death of Tony Soprano, but instead the series ended with Tony, with his wife Carmella and their children AJ and Meadow, sitting down for a meal at a diner. The series definitely finished with uncertainties. Personally I thought it was a really disappointing finale, what did you guys think?

Makes perfect sense that it ended the way it did. The main reason the show is over is because Gandolfini did not want to do it any longer lets face it. I agree that taken at face value it appears tony got wacked, It just faded to black just like he predicted it did . Others believe that as well. But I also think it was left open to interpretation with the hope that Gandolfini could be lured into a movie to answer the question. Graves hedged his bets basically. If he can get a movie done they make more money, if no movie is dones the true fans who know the show will assume Tony got wacked. Fucking genious and cunning Graves is.In the meantime I am canceling my HBO cuz the only reason I had to begin was to watch that show.

It was an amazing ending! They filmed 4 different endings and will all be on the DVD box set that will be released. Here are some other things to think about for all you die hard Sopranos fans: 1) The guy at the bar is also in the end credits as Nikki Leotardo. The same actor played him in the first part of season 6 during a brief sit down concerning the future of Vito after Phil found out he was gay. Apparently, he is the nephew of Phil Leotardo. Phil's brother Nikki Senior was killed in 1976 in a car accident. 2) The trucker in the restaurant was the brother of the guy who was robbed by Christopher in Season 2. Remember the DVD players? The trucker had to identify the body. 3) The boy scouts in the cafe were also in the train store when Bobby was shot. 4) The black guys at the end were the ones who tried to kill Tony and only clipped him in the ear. Absolutely Genius!!!! David Chase is truly rewarding the true fans who pay attention to detail. So the point would have been that life continues and we may never know the end of the Sopranos. But if you pay attention to the history, you will find that all the answers lie in the characters in the restaurant. This was Chase's way of proving that he will not escape his past. After that conversation Tony had with Bobby out on the lake about when you get whacked you don't see it or hear it coming, everything just fades to black, which is how it ended. Freakin' genius.

Remember the first episode of the season? Tony and Bobby are on a boat fishing talking about what it's like when you get whacked. They say you probably don't even hear it happening... everything just goes black. In the second to last episode at the end where Tony is going to bed clutching his gun, he even has a flash back to that moment.... Conclusion: When it goes black, Tony got whacked!

I have watched every show since the beginning,i felt the ending was great..much better than the false ending last year...i really thought they were gonna kill Tony off.When Phil got whacked,I knew Tony was gonna make it..

I feel like I wasted a big part of my life......I dont want to determine the ending in my own head, I want the fucking writer to do it for me....It is an escape from my reality every Sunday to sit and watch the Sopranos....I don't want to have to wonder WTH is going,,, I wanted an ending, good or bad...this was not an ending!!

It couldn't have ended any better! It's like it didn't end. They ended it without an ending. They went against everbody's thoughts for the ending and did what no one would have guessed. Even the song at the end gives meaning. It's like the show is still going on and never ended. They didn't become the #1 show for nothing! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
