'Pushing Daisies' Premiere Does Really Well

TV

There's a lot of really great new shows this fall. Some of my favorites returned with great premieres and I'm starting to get into some of the seasons new 'it' shows.

There's been a lot of hype surrounding 'Pushing Daisies' and it looks like it didn’t disappoint since it premiered at the #3 spot. Bionic Woman and Private Practice took the top two spots.

I didn’t watch Pushing Daisies, did you guys? Did you like it? I'm embarrassed to admit that I watched 'Caveman,' sadly I'll never get that half hour of my life back. That show should get cancelled!

My favorite shows this season are Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, CSI: Miami, Law & Order and Bigshots as the newcomer. What shows have you set your TiVo for?

i love Family Guy. Used to watch Supernatural but not so much anymore. definitely stay away from all those reality shows - they teach bad lessons to people especially kids - although I do have a weakness for "I love New York".

I thought Pushing Daisies was ridiculous! But it takes all types to make a world, right? So far this season I'm a fan of: Heroes, Dirty Sexy Money and Grey's Anatomy. I watch Private Practice also, but I'm not hooked on it yet. Meanwhile, has anyone heard anything about October Road? Is that going to be coming back? Plus, I really liked 6 Degrees...wonder if they'll consider picking it back up again when Bridget Moynahan is ready to start working?

Two new shows we started watching are Life and Aliens in America, they're really good and totally different, check them out.

Jamilla, yes October Road is coming back. I loved that show too. I heard ABC has added October Road as a midseason show in the 2007-08 season!

Interesting to note similarities between Pushing Daisies and Dead Like Me, a cable show with the same creator: characters meet in a waffle house in DLM, a pie shop in PD; main female character nicknamed George in DLM, Chuck in PD; and of course both are death-related.
