NBC Fires Most of SNL Staff

Damn this writer's strike really sucks! NBC has reportedly fired "nearly the entire production staff" at Saturday Night Live because of the ongoing writers strike.

Page Six reported today that "Saturday Night Live laid off all their staff until further notice. Their production staff, even long-term employees, were let go."

A lot of actors on various other network shows are being suspended on half pay for at least five weeks. On a bright note, Late Show host David Letterman told his staff that he would pay them out of his own pocket over the holidays if the strike continues until then.

I've always liked Letterman. Now he shows us all what a mensch he is. But awwww, he was mean to Paris. boo-hoo
