It's Official: Whoopi Joins 'The View'

TV

After weeks and weeks of speculation, it's finally been confirmed that Whoopi Goldberg will join "The View."

Whoopi will be introduced in Wednesday's episode, joining Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

"Ever watch The View?" Walters jokingly asked Goldberg as she sat down at the table and was presented with her own coffee mug.

"Once or twice," Goldberg cracked. "You look familiar."

Do you think she's a good replacement for Rosie?

I'd agree Lala but then I'd be labeled a neo-con, racist, etc. by those that love mad dog liberals like Whoopi and Rosie. So I won't say anything at all...:)

Lala, I think you meant to say "Wow, another person with a reality-based view of the world." In other words, not someone who still thinks the Bush administration is honest and actually believes Saddam was in league with Bin Laden. What a shame.

I think Whoopi will be funny and not so in your face like Rosie! And she won't pick fights with folks everyday.

She's a really cool person. I know for a fact she's diffently not the in your face type, and she doesn't steal the spotlight from anyone. So their really should not be any issues on that set with her. If their are it's diffently the other people of The View that have the hang up's.

All I'm saying is that she once said, "I don't think communism is necessarily a bad thing" once. To me, that's a seriously misinformed statement about a governnmental system. One that lib's love denying they really support by their ideas of big government, more taxes, erasing corporate or private success, and propping up those that refuse to accept personal responsibility in favor of "working for the common good of all". I'm sorry, but that's communism plain and simple. If she meant that quote to admit that's what she supports, I have a lot more respect for her even though I disagree w/it. You have to stand for something instead of hiding behind vague statements and not wanting to be "labeled." I have more respect for mad dog libs or neo cons that know who they are than these people who change their views w/the breeze. That's why I hate the Clintons.
