If you missed the big finale of "Dancing Of The Stars" last night well here is the scoop for you. NFL football champ Emmitt Smith took on Victory even though he received identical scores with fellow celebrity finalist Mario Lopez. It was Smith's fan base that voted him and professional dance partner Cheryl Burke onto victory.
Not everyone was happy about the victory, runners Mario Lopez and his partner Karina Smirnoff couldn't hide their disappointment about coming in second place. A teary Smirnoff couldn't hold back her emotions as she reluctantly talked to reporters and the usually cheerful Lopez tried to console her.
Mario told People "Apparently world-class dancing wasn't enough. That wasn't the criteria it was based on." I don't really care about the trophy. I just wanted to win for Karina. She is honestly the best dancer in the world. No disrespect to the other girls on this show, but they don't hold a candle to her."
How obvious is it that they're dating? I mean seriously just go public already. Meanwhile, we hear that Mario is so smitten by his dance partner he might pop the question. Mario might have not won the trophy but he should be happy he took on the project cause he now has a Ukrainian trophy.
Meanwhile, we hear Emmitt Smith is such a hot commodity that he may even land his own TV show. According to TMZ.com there are discussion between industry sources that at least one major studio has given an offer to get this likable cat a day time TV show.
