Travis Barker is a changed man after the tragic plane crash that killed two of his close friends. He wants to make sure he lives his life to the fullest, so he's planning on training to compete in the Los Angeles Marathon.

A source tells Star magazine, "He's registered for the Los Angeles Marathon on May 25. He's been running all over Hollywood, trying to train."

The marathon is 26.2 miles, which is no joke! It takes months and months...

Shanna admits that Travis' near death experience a few months ago played a major part in their reunion.

Things are starting to get ugly with the lawsuits against the Learjet crash that Travis Barker and DJ AM survived. The company has just denied all responsibility for the September 20th crash that killed all of the remaining passengers.

Learjet released a statement saying, "Learjet alleges that any and all conditions if any there were, were solely a result of the failure to properly maintain and service the aircraft.”

DJ AM has decided it’s the right time to start suing the people he finds responsible for the plane crash in September 2008 that almost cost him his life.

AM is suing the estates of the two late pilots that past away, Sarah Lemmon and James Bland, along with Clay Lacy Aviation, Inter Travel & Services Inc, Global Exec Aviation, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co, and Learjet.

Travis Barker is feeling a bit better so he's decided it's time to start suing all those that might have been responsible for the plane crash that almost cost him his life.

According to TMZ, he has file a lawsuit against Bombardier Inc., Clay Lacy Aviation and Goodyear Tire and Rubber.

Travis Barker has opened about his plane crash tragedy and it's nice to see that he's really optimistic. Travis is still recovering from his burns but he has admitted that he's already back in the studio making music.

"I'm already playing my drums again and I'm already back in the studio," Barker told MTV during the final taping of TRL.

Earlier this morning, we reported that Travis Barker was going to be released from the hospital "b4 you know it," and this afternoon he did just that.

Barker will continue his treatment from the comfort of his home. He's still recovering from second- and third-degree burns, but he's expected to make a full recovery.
