When you’re born with a silver spoon in your mouth, the word "budget" doesn't exist in your vocabulary. Tori Spelling learned the hard way that money doesn't grow on trees. After her father’s death, she was so strapped for cash, she considered filing for bankruptcy.
Spelling recalls, "In all honesty, I grew up a certain way. I never had to worry about money. That was my reality. I would sit and watch my mom order stuff online, or in a catalogue, see a sweater and order it in 10 different colors. I thought, 'I have my own money that's what I should do.'"
After daddy Spelling passed, Tori racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars on her credit cards. That large credit card debt might be one of the reasons her and her mother are all buddy-buddy again after not getting along for years. It pays to be a Spelling!
