Tom Cruise Doesn't Have a Phone

Actor/former couch jumper Tom Cruise claims that he does not own any gadgets, jewelry, or cell phones and he only cares about spending time with his wife and daughter.

The actor reportedly told the Daily Star: "I have no iPhone, no mobile, no email address, no watch, no jewelry, no wallet. I simply want to be with my children and make movies.

"My values for children never change: love, responsibility, curiosity at the wonder of life."

Cruise also said that his best moments are "waking up and seeing Katie and Suri and giving them a hug".

What happened to the kids he shared with Nicole Kidman? The last I remember seeing them was in the Vanity Fair spread he did when Suri was born. Has he forgotten about his other kids? God knows they're never with Nicole.

"alrighty" people bang up on him because he is a HYPOCRITE. He has been photographed with a watch on numerous occasions AFTER this quote. He also had to show the world that FAKE message from kh on his blackberry when he was interviewed by Diane Sawyer yea....at least he doesn't go to rehab......he just belongs to a dangerous cult and is the #2 guy in that cult

I would think that when he refers to wanting to spend time with his "children"-plural-that that would indicate that he has not in fact forgotten about his older two children. Don't worry, winter will soon be gone and the paparazzi will be hounding those poor kids at their soccor games again. You know-the games that Tom attends all season long. I'm not a huge Tom Cruise fan, but the criticism he gets is ridiculouts.

Wearing a wedding ring doesn't count as jewelry, it's not decoration but signifies commitment. If you look in the picture he is wearing one. What's wrong with not having a wallet or watch? If he has assistants, he doesn't need them. He could just have a credit card with now wallet. I've done that for a long time. Cruise seems to be a decent, enthusiastic guy. There's no reason to bang up on him. At least he's not doing drugs, getting DUIs, going to rehab, etc. like so many other celebrities. He speaks his mind and says he loves his family and that's a problem? Jeez people. Go back to hating your own lives.

Maybe we don't see the kids because neither Tom or Nicole want the kids in the spotlight. Maybe grow up with a normal life...as much as can be when your parents are superstars!!

Nicole has been filming the movie "Australia" in that country since May (with occasional trips to the US for other stuff) and her kids have been with her on the set from time to time. There were even pictures of her son riding horses and of Nicole with her daughter on the set.

Maybe that's because she turned her back on Scientology and part of their 'creed' is to not socialise with outsiders. Then there was the rumour that he banned the kids from going to Nicole's because of her husband Keith Urban's alcoholism etc.
