Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have been the talk of the town ever since they started dating. After they got married there have been dozens and dozens of reports claiming that there is trouble in paradise. Just yesterday, Life & Style was reporting that Katie was flirting up a storm with her co-star on the set of her new film.

All these talks are rumors according to close friends of the Cruise’s. "We're shocked when we read that stuff," says Yahoo CEO Terry Semel. "Kate is bright and has opinions...She's hardly a shrinking violet."

"I think everybody has this image: Poor little Kate, she doesn't have the strength to take care of herself," says Pinkett Smith. "People don't know that behind all that grace is a tiger. ... People think Tom and the Church of Scientology got something on Kate? They don't. Kate is running her own show."

A favorite pastime is family movie night: "Tom and Katie will get in the kitchen and make this amazing popcorn with chocolate," Dayton says. "Suri is there playing. Kate feeds her a bottle and then Tom feeds her."

Close friend Leah Remini agrees: "I really don't get it. They're married, they love each other and have a beautiful baby. They do 'weird' things like take care of their kid and go to baseball games."

Know one , but Katie and Tom knows what is really going on in their relationship so it's pointless to believe in rumors that are hear say. We (the public) will might eventually find out, but in till then I think we should give this couple a rest.

While it's certainly true that none of us really knows what goes on in the Cruise "marriage", it still gets annoying whenever a "negative" story about Katie appears and the next day, drove of Scientologist "friends" or other "friends pop up to say how normal they are. I find the current story with Jada Pinkett-Smith a little on the laughable side though. "Don't mess with Kate." she supposedly has total control of her household?...don't make me laugh.

Yes, leave them alone. Not until they actually come out and say "we are amicably split", I am not going to believe anything speculated. I would definitely defend my true friends when there were so many vicious attacks to their relationship. There must be so many people wanted nothing but destroy Tom. And the fact they are still living according the way they want.... it's amazing.

I agree. Let's all leave them alone. Let's not report about them anymore, take pictures of them or speculate what they do with their lives. In fact, let's not go to their movies, let's not read articles or buy magazines with them on it. Let's not give either one of their people any of our hard earned money. Ignore these two media-whores...and let's see how far they last.

They have a georgeous little girl, they love each other, why do people bother making this stuff up. The people that work for these magazines need to find a more dignified way of living.
