Is it just me, or is TomKat always in an endless struggle to defend their marriage? Katie Holmes is in the December issue of Parade magazine talking about how marriage hasn't changed her. Yeah right. She wouldn't be caught dead walking around Dawson's Creek land with that Uma Thurman 'Pulp Fiction' haircut--but let's hear her out.

Holmes said, "I appreciate the man that I'm with and my family and my work. I feel very lucky to be able to say that. I mean, what we do in a week is extraordinary." Huh?

She goes on to say, "I have done things I never thought I would do, like climbing mountains and flying in a P-51 (a World War II fighter). That's what is so inspiring about being with him — constant thrills and joy."

Hey, if you need fighter planes to spice up your marriage, who am I to say that's wrong?

OK, here's an opposite comment. Let's assume their marriage is authentic and that Tom is not gay. It could be that being with an older man is wearing her out. I dated a man that was 13 years older than I, and he had more vigor and energy than men my age. It was always go, go, go with him and I was walking around tired looking too. Maybe she's met her match?

If you were making HALF the amount of money they were making you would do the same thing. At least THEY have either done something with their lives or ARE doing something with their lives. But here YOU ALL are bitching about how good they've got when they've worked their asses off to get to where they are. That's called envy, my friends, you covet what THEY have. Who cares what they have, or what they look like?

well I guess thrills and joy is what it's all about. Would feel sorry for any of these celebs if they ever went bankrupt... geez, what would they base their marriages on then? Marriage is fun for her because she has millions to squander at Barneys! She gets to work once a year, travels non stop, decorates new homes and shops!! SHIT, life is always fun and thrilling when you can do that all day!
