Dr. Drew Hits Back...With An Apology!

Didn't we say don't ever mess with Tom Cruise? Earlier this morning we reported about Tom Cruise's lawyer hitting back Dr. Drew for an article he wrote in Playboy Magazine.

"Dr. Drew meant no harm to Mr. Cruise and apologizes if his comments were hurtful," Pinsky's rep said in a statement.

His rep added, "Although Mr. Fields's intent is clearly to slander and discredit Dr. Drew, under no circumstances is Dr. Drew making a blanket diagnosis about Scientology nor Mr. Cruise whom he does not know. Dr. Drew was simply using Mr. Cruise as an example of someone who is recognizable to help the public understand. Again, Dr. Drew meant him no harm."

Well, it took a few hours but Tom got an apology from Dr. Drew's rep. It's pretty scary but that's how powerful Tom is in this town!

Scientology is a vicious and dangerous cult. Tom Cruise and other cult members are completely delusional. Scientology says that Jesus Christ was a hallucination implanted by aliens into our brains. Also: All of us humans have trillions of alien parasites called "body thetans" clinging to our bodies. Also: 85 billion years ago, a galactic warlord called Lord Xenu followed the orders of his planet's Psychiatrists and Income Tax Collectors, rounded up all the beings from an over-populated planet, injected them in the neck with chemicals, and flew them to Earth (then called "Teegeeack") in a rocket that looked exactly like a DC-8 airplane. He dumped them all into the volcanoes of Hawaii and dropped enormous H-Bombs on them. also: Psychiatrists are responsible for the African slave trade and for the Holocaust. Nice, normal religion. Dr. Drew should not have apologized.

Finding out that Dr. Drew is actually an M.D. made his statements even more bizarre as they were so incredibly unprofessional not too mention they didn't even make sense. They really did sound like something a probably drunk unknowledgeable TV talk show would say to drum up response. That was a very weak apology by the way.

Tom Cruise is nuts, plain and simple. I don`t need any medical diagnosis to know that, just watch some of his videos on youtube. Although, the fact that someone has to apology publicly for saying the truth out loud worries me. Will Tom apologize to this doctor for calling him a Nazi?

It's not that Tom is powerful, it's that Dr. Drew was unprofessional to diagnose someone he has not met. While we don't care about Tom, it is about time people start caring about mental illness, as it affects society as a whole
