Tom Cruise Regrets Couch-Jumping Episode

Believe it or not, Tom Cruise doesn't think he handled the whole couch-jumping episode on Oprah very well. In fact, he regrets it! Tom recently did an interview with the Daily Mirror, and admitted his behavior was borderline uncalled for.

When asked about Oprah, and about criticizing Brooke Shields for taking postpartum depression medication, Tom replied, "There are things that I could have done better. I could have handled things better."

But Tom insists all the "negative" press only made his relationship with Katie Holmes even stronger. He told the tabloid, "I was surprised by the criticism but it brought everyone close together. Katie's entire family and my family. Going through that stuff is not pleasant, and I think it hit an extreme, but Kate's a very sure and confident and strong woman. She gets it, you know."

Well if a woman can stand by him after that crazy Oprah episode, we guess that's true love! That was back in 2005, and they're still going strong!
