Tom Cruise Never Lost Blackberry

It's time for some rumor patrol. Last week the NY Post reported that Tom Cruise had lost his Blackberry phone while doing press for his latest movie "Valkyrie" in Toronto.

The news of his missing Blackberry sent fans and industry people in a frenzy. Can you imagine what his contact list looks like?

"A search was done, but, nada," National Post columnist Shinan Govani had reported. "So, basically, someone in Toronto has Top Gun's crackberry."

We hate to burst your bubble, especially if you were actually looking for his "missing" phone, but it turns out the entire story was fabricated. He "never lost his Blackberry," his rep Jeff Raymond tells Hollyscoop.com. It was a "fake story."

There were even reports that Tom was asking citizens to look for his phone and return it to him if found. How the fake story was generated is beyond us, but that goes to show you that you can't believe everything you read about Mr. Cruise.
