As you know, every year Barbara Walters compiles a list of the most fascinating people of the year. The number one spot is always kept under wraps until the show airs.

But this year there are rumors that it’ none other than Tom Cruise! What the hell has he done this year to deserve that title?

Not like last year’s pick, J.K. Rowling, was that exciting either. But we’d even prefer Sarah Palin to get picked for that spot!

Page Six is reporting that Barbara was spotted at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York the other day with Tom Cruise, interviewing him for the special. What do you think of Tom possibly being a part of the list?
