Tom Cruise: I’ve Always Wanted To Kill Hitler

Tom Cruise was in Seoul, South Korea this past weekend to promote his new movie Valkyrie. And during Sunday’s press conference, Tom didn’t hold back about his feelings on Adolf Hitler.

He told the reporters, “I’ve always wanted to kill Hitler. As a child, I used to wonder why someone didn’t stand up and kill him. As a child studying history and looking at documents, I wondered, why didn’t someone stand up and try to stop it? When I read the script, it was entertaining and informative to know what the challenges were and what it was like to be in the environment.”

Tom also says that the storyline is one that can be told over and over. He says, “Although the story takes place during the World War II, I found the story ageless.”

He also says that making the movie “was a powerful experience that I will never forget.” He also added that playing the part of Col. Claus von Stauffenberg made him come to greatly admire him.

We’ll have to wait til this weekend to see if Seoul responds well to the movie or not. American-made movies generally travel to Japan as their first Asian market, but South Korea was chosen first this time.

Valkyrie director Bryan Singer said South Korea was picked as the first Asian country for the movie’s release because it’s “an extraordinary rising market” for both local and international films. Valkyrie opens in South Korean theaters this Thursday.

Like I said before Hitler is taken over the world and the only way to save us is to send Tom Cruise in his tighty whities. Yeah I feel safe now.
