Connor Cruise Shows Up at Comic-Con
At the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con convention, Conner Cruise represented the most popular family in Hollywood right now. The high profile kid spun tracks for a party on Thursday night.

According to People magazine, Connor jetted down to San Diego after visiting his recently divorced dad Tom Cruise in the California mountains.

Despite all the drama surrounding his family lately, the 17-year-old held his own.

"He seemed very upbeat and he looked great," a partygoer told People. "He seemed to be having a great time performing for the crowd. Everyone totally ate it up! They were really getting into the music he was playing."

Connor’s performance was on display for a room full of celebrities as part of a party held by IGN Entertainment. The shindig was in honor of the new Resident Evil video game release.

The bash was held in San Diego’s Hard Rock Hotel. He was opening for Jermaine Dupri and Wu-Tang Clan member RZA.

With all eyes on the kid, it’s no surprise that the performer didn’t stick around long after his set to mingle with the press.

"Everyone was trying to get a minute with him after the set, but he took off soon after," a source told People.

Katie Holmes filed for her separation from Tom earlier this month. The actor was initially shocked from the newsflash.

But Tom quickly recovered and continued to settle the divorce with Katie outside of court in one of the fastest Hollywood divorce turnarounds in recorded history.

Connor was adopted by Tom along with Nicole Kidman who he was married to at the time.
