Angelina In, Tom Out!

Aww! This is a bummer for Tom Cruise! According to the Variety, Tom Cruise is being replaced by Angelina Jolie in the thriller Edwin A. Salt.

Tom has reportedly been very interested in this role for some time now but was recently dropped from the “running” and now the writers are changing things around to have the lead be played by a woman.

This role should not be too difficult for Jolie as she will play a CIA officer who has been accused of being a Russian agent. Doesn’t it feel like Jolie’s played tons of these kind of roles?
