Tom Brady may be a dad again, but he’s not going to be very much help for diaper duty!
Tom sat out a practice on Thursday, but that’s just about as much time as the star quarterback can take from the field. He returned today to practice with his teammates just three days after wife Gisele Bundchen gave birth to their baby boy.
Tom joked during a press conference this week, saying, "It's just a normal week.”
"I owe it in the guys in the locker room to be focused on what I need to do for this team," Brady said Wednesday, adding that he planned to "put all those emotions aside."
"The last thing the team needs from me is to be not focused on the job at hand," he said. "It's a very normal week for me in that sense."
"He's focused on the game," adds Patriots rep Stacey James. But, of course, he is enjoying time after work with the family, "Tom said everyone is doing great," says James.
According to ESPN, Tom is still listed as “questionable” for Sunday’s game against the Panthers, since he’s still recovering from injuries to his right shoulder, a finger on his right hand and his ribs.
We’re sure Gisele wouldn’t mind if he took Sunday off!
