Tom Brady Might Be A Bit Confused

Tom Brady

Bridget Moynahan gave birth to a baby boy last week and now the name drama has begun.

Tom who left Bridget hanging while she was pregnant thinks that the baby’s name is Jonathan Brady, but when Bridget’s rep released a statement Brady’s last name was no where to be found. Her rep announced the child’s name as John Edward Thomas Moynahan.

Why would she name the child after him when he wasn’t even there during the pregnancy? The only people that do that seem to be the one’s that want some money!

I agree! She wasn't married to him so why does the baby needs his last name. I'm sure the birth certificate has him listed as the father, that's enough! He left her when she was pregnant so by law he will have to provide for his child financially, regardless if the baby has his last name or not...Tom Brady is a LOSER!

What relevance does this have - he doesn't contend the baby is not his! The point is that she trapped him - so stop the pity! Big helmet - what kind of school did you go to??? The law of averages says that the longer a couple is together, the GREATER the chance of pregnancy! The more times a couple has sex, the greater likelihood for conception. If the chance of pregnancy using birth control is 2%, then if a couple has sex 50 times, they should expect one pregnancy. 100 times, 2 pregnancies. Tom and Bridget were probably overdue.

She wanted kids, he didn't apparently and it's up to BOTH parties involved to ensure birth control is in use, especially if you're the one who DOESN'T want the kid. Some of these are some of the most stupid responses I have ever read. (Yes, for you Captain Stupid - Statistics 101) OK, so you are together for 6 years, but a pregnancy occurs just before the end of the 6th year. ummm, for you geniuses out there, that means she could have conceived the child before they broke up, yet announced the pregnancy afterwards. (There's a 13 week period that things are kind of touch and go.) Does that timing look a little suspicious to any of you that have analytic abilities? OK, so for the really, beyond-stupid response (A.A.), here's a little information: Almost without exception, men do not trap women. I know, difficult to understand for some, but young, eligible bachelors do not intentionally knock-up women that they think they may be looking to break-up with. For all those reasonably minded and experienced, haven't you ever been in the dwindling end of a relationship, where you knew it was coming to end, but you didn't want to hurt the others feelings? Perhaps you still felt the person was attractive, but you had met someone else? Well, would you still shag the person? Maybe if the person really came on to you (with the intention of getting knocked-up too)? This was a mistake for Brady, but an intentional trap for Brid. End of story.

Hey Helen, Do you ever take off the feminazi uniform long enough to look at a situation and, objectively, apply a logical analysis to it? Don't bother answering - we know you don't and that's the problem with most of you here. No one here has claimed Brady is an angel or devoid of responsibility. This isn't a wage-all gender battle to determine who is right in all situations as this. All I am writing is what every realistic person knows - she tried to trap him. To believe anything else is to suggest improbable odds (on the timing - Statistics 101) or that Brady is incredibly stupid or desperate to hold on to Moynihan. If that is what you want to hang your hat on, well, it makes you out to be either dumb or lacking common-sense. So stop all the "poor Bridget" BS. She got the situation she wanted except she lost her wager - Brady. Now the poor kid is stuck without a fulltime father b/c Brady didn't have the balls to make a clean break and b/c Bridget was willing to bet he would come back to her. (Which may still happen) So, Helen, try not to think with your emotions - it muddles the issues. (It also helps if you get laid and have some relationship experience to relate) :)

I am a woman and live here in the New England area. I really could care less about this Brady-Baby-Drama, but alas I do also have an opinion. It is my opinion that these two wanted different things in life: Brig wanted to settle down, marry, have kids and the whole fantastical (Ya Right!) white-picket-fence scenario with her handsome, loyal boyfriend-husband. Tom may have wanted all this too, but not at that time in his life. Obviously, being in a long-term, committed relationship one would concur that they must have talked about this fact at some point, and alas Brig. must have realized that her time was "running out" so to speak, and yes although I concur that it does take 2- we all know that us women can be pretty sneaky when we want something, probably as much as Brig wanted her "fairy-tale" ending. I believe that she purposely got pregnant and then waited the 3-month period and then again purposely released the info. at a time when she knew it would make Brady look like the "biggest jerk" in the world, while he was on holiday with Giselle in Italy... it was meant by Brig. to make the public presume that Tommy boy dumped her whilst knowing she was preggers and instantly hooks up with another, younger woman. I don't believe that for one second. whether Tom knew about the pregnancy before it was released, who knows, either way- now that the babe is here, they both need to GROW UP & start acting in a cizilized co-parenting unit, for their baby's sake. All the bs that went on between the two of them is water under the bridge at this point... GROW UP for your child's sake!

If Moynahan doesn't want anything to do with him (as said on other reports) she needs to think about THEIR son and what is best for him. And if she is so petty as to keep a child away from a parent because mommy and daddy are fighting, it's really sad. And if she decides that then she should not get child support payments, she wants to do it on her own with out the daddy- she can do it WITHOUT the daddy's money.

These are definately unfortunate circumstances, made worse by some poor decisions. Should Tom have been more careful? Yes. But Bridget has been doing everything possible to make him look like a much bigger ass than he is. The main reason they broke up was because Tom knew he wasn't ready to be a father given his schedule. So what happens as the relationship has hit a dead end? Bridget gets pregnant (exactly what she had wanted all along, and what Tom was trying to delay). Is it a coincidence that she decides to break the story while he's on vaca with his new gf? Is it coincidence that she decides to move to LA, far from her family and Tom, to give birth to their child? Is it coincidence that she names him JET Moynihan (really, who has 3 given names)? Yes, it's unfortunate what happened. Tom probably should have been there more during the pregnancy, but he must've been pretty TO'd at her for how she's making him look (the timing of the anouncement, the move, not to mention the pregnancy). Then, he takes time off to be there for the birth and she won't let him into the room when the baby is born, and refuses to see him? Both parties are responsible for the pregnancy, and more importantly, both parties are responsible for the raising of the child. Bridget knows this, that's why she's asking Tom for 50K a month in child support (so she can hire 2 full time nannies). Bridget is a multi-million dollar model/actress victim? JET is the only one people should be feeling sorry for, although if you're going to rank them, I'd put Bridget a distant 3rd.

Please, Are you an "intimate friend" of Mr. Brady, or do you work for his PR machine? How can you prove that she wants 50k in child support and is going to hire two nannies? Brady and Gisele probably drove her away with all their PDA's. Also, she's an actress, so it would sort of make sense that she live near Hollywood. He has no reason whatsoever to be ticked off at her about how she has handled herself. If he were half the stand-up man you think he is he would have put his differences aside for the child's sake and helped her during this pregnancy. If he also cherishes his privacy then he can not date a supermodel. Doing that is a way to guarantee yourself an invasion of your privacy by the media.

I didn't even realize who Bridget was until I looked her up on IMDB. I have great respect for her as a single mom myself. I think it's GREAT she named her son with HER last name. Screw Tom. BTW-- Has anyone thought that maybe JUST maybe this pregnancy was an accident? It happens ALL THE TIME. In fact I was on the pill and took it correctly and RELIGIOUSLY for 16 years. I had sex with my ex out of one of those "lonely booty call" evenings, a and guess what! I became one of those 1% statistics. It is possible this happened to Bridget. It takes TWO TO TANGO.
