Gisele's Family Gushes About the Baby

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen got an early Christmas present this year, and it sounds like everyone is overjoyed at the birth of their newborn son. Gisele’s twin sister Patricia, who is currently in Boston with the new parents, spoke with People about the new addition to the family.

"He's a beautiful, healthy boy,” she said. “We are all really happy!" Gisele’s mother Vania is also reportedly there with her daughter and new grandson. Gisele’s father, meanwhile, is back home in the family’s native Brazil, anxiously awaiting news of a name.

"We don't know the name yet. I don't have all the details. But obviously when someone is born into the family, it makes us all happy," Bündchen's father Valdir says. "We are all here in Horizontina, and my wife is there in Boston, so obviously we are a little distant, but we are all immensely happy."

He added that they’re all hoping Tom and Gisele will plan a trip when the baby is old enough to travel. "Obviously I have a huge desire to see my grandson," he says. "The arrival of a grandson always brings happiness to the grandfather."
