Meredith Viera announced the news today on air, saying that Jenna, who is a reading coordinator at a Baltimore school, will be on the morning program once a month to “contribute stories on issues including edication.”
Jenna will begin her work in September. Today executive producer Jim Bell announced today that starting September 14th, she'll cover "a variety of human interest and feature stories" for the morning show.
He said in a statement, "In previous appearances, she displayed a natural ability to communicate and connect. She has great passion about important subjects, especially education and literacy, and we look forward to having her bring her unique perspective to Today."
Jenna has always been outspoken and passionate about her work, so she could be a great addition to the show!

Three years later, Tom is scheduled to appear on the Today Show this coming Monday, December 15th. This time, the conversation will stick to Tom’s upcoming movie Valkyrie, Katie, Suri, and his other two children Connor and Isabella.
It seems enough time has gone by for Tom and Matt to get over their differences. Tom even made light of his statements in 2007 about the use of anti-depressants while at a roast for Matt Lauer.
Well we think as long as they stick to family and Tom’s movie, there won’t be any on-air fist fights! Tune in Monday for the interview, but for good measure we've posted the last interview with Matt. Tom was definitely a different person in 2005.

A source tells The New York Post, "Everybody wanted her - she was the big get but GMA and ABC out-foxed Today and NBC." Brit has reportedly not yet decided whether she will do an interview during her GMA slot .

The rumors might be true! People is reporting that The New Kids are reuniting this Friday on the Today Show. They apparently have some big news to announce. Hopefully reunion news!

Congratulations to Kathy Lee Gifford who finally found a job. It was announced today that Kathy Lee will be the fourth hour co-host on the Today show.
Kathy Lee has really been up to nothing ever since she left the Regis and Kathy Lee show in 2000.
You'll be able to catch her starting April 7.

Jessica Simpson appeared on the Today Show this morning from Kuwait to promote the Operation Myspace Concert. Jess sounded a little out of it, saying she didn't get much sleep the night before.
FYI Tom from myspace appeared in the interview as well. He explained that he's been receiving emails from people in the military and their families telling Tom how myspace has helped them stay connected, so this concert is for them.
The concert will stream live, starting at 2PM eastern.

You want good morning TV? Well turn your attention to the peeps at NBC who have been topping the ratings for 12 years straight. Yes, I'm talking about Matt, Merideth, Al, and Ann over at "Today".
With Al Roker's weather antics, Ann Curry's on-air flubbers, and Matt Lauer just being, well, himself, how could you go wrong? Surprising that the NBC kids are even beating "The View" ladies at their rival station. I'm sure if Rosie was still around, she'd have something to say (blog) about that!

Janice Dickinson is at it again! This morning on the Today Show she basically started another war against Tyra Banks.
Dickinson commented on Hewitt stating that she "is a healthy, not emaciated woman."
"These are unflattering camera angles on her," she continued. Then she took a bite at Tyra saying, "You want to see someone who's fat? I'm sorry, Tyra. Tyra Banks is fat. This girl is not fat."
Ouch! This woman will do anything for publicity no? I actually sense some jealousy. Maybe she’s jealous at the fact that Tyra has a talk show and she has a reality show?

Brad Pitt seems to be following in the footsteps of his wife Angelina Jolie as he steps to the forefront in the rebuilding of New Orleans.
Pitt spoke about his latest initiative, "Make It Right", on the Today Show this morning, as he walked through the devastated neighborhoods in New Orleans.
Pitt expects the foundations for 150 eco-friendly homes to be completed by the end of summer, even donating $5 million of his own money toward the project. He has teamed up with 13 architects for the project, and explained that each home will be built on stilts as a precaution against the threat of flooding.
He says design requirements for the homes are affordability, sustainability, safety — and that they be beautiful. Oh Brad, anything you do is beautiful to us. I'm sure the houses will be just fine!
